Rendering of our 2018 Car 1957 Chevy Wagon

We are pleased to show you what’s in the works

Springport, Mi (January 11th, 2018) Back at the beginning of January we did a poll on Jon Parish Racing’s facebook page. We asked you what you preferred for a body style for Jon’s 2018 car. The 1957 Chevy Wagon won in polling by over a 2 to 1 margin. We were pleased with those results. Our family has a passion for hot rod’s, Americana and classic cars. What better representation than a 1957 Chevy?

Good news for us on the build portion

The good news for us, preparation wise, is that we had a Lefthander late model chassis here in the shop to begin with. The even better news is that the interior was set up at the correct height for our 1957 Chevy Wagon. The chassis originally had a 1957 Chevy 2 door on it, but our good friend Ted Evans at Evans Brothers Racing can build us a roof over the next couple months and the rest of the body will be very similar from the last installed body.

We’ll still need a few things

Normal for any new car build, we’ll still need a few things. We’ll be getting our aluminum and our rivets and lexan from racingpartsales.com We’re excited to get going on the Lefthander.  We had the choice of two cars The Lefthander and an FLF chassis. We got them both measured up and the Lefthander will suit our needs well.

In conclusion
